The GYROTONIC® method is a unique movement system that addresses the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and creating functional strength. Gyrotonic exercise sequences are composed of spiralling, circular movements which flow together seamlessly in rhythmic repetitions with corresponding breath patterns.
You will work to strengthen your muscles but simultaneously decompressing joints as you move – this helps improve flexibility and coordination, while challenging your nervous system at the same time. The Gyrotonic method works from the inside out – you will build awareness on what is going on inside your body and can learn to apply it in your day-to-day activities to establish healthier movement patterns.

Different specialised equipment challenge your body and movement capabilities in different ways. Powerful cardiovascular and aerobic rhythms are also used in advanced regimens.
There is no lack of elite athletes like Andy Murray, Tiger Woods who practiced this method. If you are a fitness enthusiast, whether in tennis, golf, dance, or whatever else who are seeking subtle refinement of your performance or to discover capacities of your body that you never knew before, give the Gyrotonic method a try.
